MEN AT WORK: Thierry Andretta, Lanvin’s chief executive officer, has been elected president of France’s Chambre Syndicale for Men’s Fashion, succeeding Hermès chief executive officer Patrick Thomas. Andretta was voted in at the AGM of the Chambre Syndicale for Men’s Fashion by its board composed of representatives from the following houses: Christian Dior, Hermès, Jean Paul Gaultier, Lanvin and Yves Saint Laurent. Thomas held the post for four years, made up of two two-year terms, having been reelected after the first term. According to the association’s regulations, candidates can only be reelected once. Ralph Toledano, president of Puig’s fashion division, has filled Andretta’s former post as vice president. At the meeting, Henrik Vibskov and Maison Martin Margiela were admitted as new members of the Chambre Syndicale for Men’s Fashion.
