MENTOR SELECTS: The winner and two runners-up of this year’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund have been teamed up with their mentors. Winner Greg Chait of The Elder Statesman will be mentored by Chrome Hearts’ owners and designers Richard and Laurie Lynn Stark. From the runners-up, shoe designer Tabitha Simmons will work with Joshua Schulman, president of Bergdorf Goodman (and former Jimmy Choo chief executive officer), while jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer Maguire will be guided by Diane von Furstenberg. The mentoring is part of the award, which also includes $300,000 for the winner and $100,000 for each runner-up to develop their respective businesses.
