Michael Kors Plans Trip to Shanghai

The designer will travel to China in May to fete his new flagship and host an event for more than 1,000 guests.

CHINA CALLING: Michael Kors is preparing to make his first trip to Shanghai in May to fete his newly opened store at the city’s Jing An Kerry Centre, his brand’s first flagship in China. The designer will host an event May 9 for more than 1,000 guests. The fashion house has yet to release details but a spokeswoman said the happening will “tell the story of the MK jet-set lifestyle.”
