Milly Heads to East Hampton

This spring also marks the opening of two freestanding boutiques in Qatar and Dubai, joining the brand's flagships in Tokyo and New York.

MILLY HEADS EAST: Milly will open its first pop-up shop this summer at 54 Main Street in East Hampton. The shop, which will be unveiled Saturday, is timed to kick off the Memorial Day weekend.

“The whitewashed, minimal space of the Milly East Hampton boutique resembles a gallery, which inspired me to showcase art as well as fashion,” said Michelle Smith, designer and founder of the collection. In addition to limited edition Milly ready-to-wear, the shop will carry Milly Cabana swimwear, handbags, Milly Minis children’s wear and small leather goods, as well as artwork by photographer Jessica Craig Martin, which will be available to purchase. Milly for Sperry Topsider shoes will also be featured, along with candles, notecards, books and other accessories for last minute hostess gifts, personally selected by Smith.

The 1,000 square-foot shop will stay open through Christmas 2014.

This spring also marks the opening of two freestanding Milly boutiques in Qatar and Dubai, joining the flagship boutiques in Tokyo and at 900 Madison Avenue in New York. A boutique in Kuwait will open this fall.
