Miuccia Prada Contributes Fabric to Art Show

The designer’s fabric features as a backdrop at the “Spot 2013” show in Paris.

PRINT SCREEN: Miuccia Prada has contributed a fabric design for the Spot 2013 exhibition, a collaboration between three art galleries under the direction of Galleria Nilufar founder Nina Yashar. It opened today to coincide with the upcoming FIAC art fair in Paris.

Held at the Hôtel de Miramion in the French capital’s 5th arondissement, Spot is a joint project between Galleria Nilufar in Milan, Balice Hertling in Paris, and Giò Marconi in Milan. On show until Nov. 12, it includes works of art by Shigeru Ban, Sam Falls, Isabelle Cornaro, John Bock and Will Benedict, among others.

The Prada fabric, which resembles a toile de Jouy, serves as a backdrop for three of the exhibition rooms.
