On the heels of their extravagant Palm Beach wedding Sunday at The Breakers, Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello are on to married life. But designer Zuhair Murad, who created the bride’s strapless gown with an intricately embroidered bodice and voluminous detachable skirt, was still flying high from the occasion Tuesday morning. The Lebanese designer posted a photo of the “Modern Family” actress in her “one-of-a-kind custom-made” wedding gown and her “Magic Mike” actor husband exchanging their vows on his homepage. Murad noted she looked like “a true beauty queen, while she recited her vows, promising ‘I will,’ rather than the traditional ‘I do’ to the love of her life.

The Emmy-nominated actress has worn Murad’s designs on the red carpet, as did more recently Jennifer Lopez, Jada Pinkett Smith and Nina Dobrev at Sunday’s American Music Awards. And the designer Murad isn’t alone in thinking Vergara’s wedding photos are real keepers. Chances are Lorraine Schwartz, who provided Vergara’s sizable diamond earrings, has her own set, too.

But Vergara’s talents extend beyond acting. Fortune magazine estimated she pulled in $28.5 million last year, a mix of her entrepreneurial projects and her role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on ABC’s “Modern Family.” Her business ventures include her fragrance license with Parlux, jewelry with Kay Jewelers, furniture with Rooms to Go, and spokeswoman and ambassador roles for Cover Girl and Head & Shoulders. The Colombian-born actress also ended an apparel deal with Kmart earlier this year, but she told WWD in September that she’s still interested in pursuing that market segment with another partner.

Just last month she introduced her second fragrance, appropriately named Love. In an interview with WWD in September, Vergara spoke of her upcoming nuptials and wanting to commemorate that milestone with a scent. “It’s a very important time in my life,” she told WWD.

In addition to the dramatic silk tulle Zuhair Murad gown and eye-blinding Lorraine Schwartz diamonds, Vergara planned to also go big with lots of wedding cake. “I try not to overdo it, but it’s my passion,” she told WWD.

High-energy as she is known to be, should Vergara have needed some downtime during the weekend’s festivities, The Breakers’ newly remodeled spa by designer Sylvia Sepielli was at the ready.
