Mr Porter Sets Collaborations

Capsule collection was done with a host of London men’s designers.

PORTER’S PEOPLE: Mr Porter has launched a capsule collection to mark London’s men’s wear shows with designers including Sibling, Richard Nicoll, Katie Eary and Matthew Miller. The brand took over the Alison Jacques art gallery near Oxford Circus, where tea and crumpets were served from an Airstream van on the street. Inside, guests were greeted by a room full of red British telephone boxes, each with a model inside sporting a look from the line.

Among them was Sibling’s pink leopard-print blend sweater, Richard Nicoll’s graphic cotton jersey and wool crew necks, Katie Eary’s baroque print jersey and Matthew Miller‘s foil pocket sweatshirts.

“We decided we needed to support some of the younger London designers more, so we went to all the collections last season and approached the ones which we thought would translate really well into a project for us,” said Jeremy Langmead, editor-in-chief of Mr Porter and a member of the London Collections: Men committee. The collection is available on Mr Porter’s international sites and retails from $130 to $455.
