MURRAY MADNESS: A pantheon of proud Britons braved the intermittent — but often heavy — rainfall, and took up their seats on Sunday afternoon to watch Andy Murray fall in four sets to Roger Federer in the Wimbledon men’s final. And it’s no wonder: A Briton hasn’t won the Wimbledon men’s singles since Fred Perry in 1936. British Prime Minister David Cameron, the Duchess of Cambridge, her sister Pippa Middleton and David and Victoria Beckham were all in attendance at the match, which had to be stopped at one point so the roof could be drawn over Centre Court due to the rain.
Kate donned a sleeveless crepe dress and cream jacket with patch pockets from Joseph — two pieces she’s worn before. Her sister wore a blue patterned dress from Project D, while Beckham opted for a forest green V-neck dress with black stripes from her signature label’s fall collection.
