NEW PARTNER: Italian high-end costume jewelry company CA&LOU has found a business partner in Andrea Morante to help grow the brand globally. Morante, who is chief executive officer of Pomellato, made a private investment in the company established in 2010 by Carolina Neri and Bérengère Lux, buying a 10 percent stake through a capital increase. The company declined to specify how much Morante invested. “I am very glad to have the opportunity to invest in CA&LOU and to be able to participate as a shareholder to the development of this precious and interesting Milanese business venture in such a promising sector as that of costume jewelry,” Morante said.
“This partnership will help us to conquer new markets, reinforce our communication strategy and increase our brand awareness,” said Lux, who previously handled international market development for Jimmy Choo and served the Tabitha Simmons shoe label as strategic development consultant. Neri also said that they aim to launch a line of jeweled bags for the next resort season.
