Lane Crawford’s Sarah Rutson Said Headed to Net-a-porter

Sources said Rutson would take up her new role in January, and an official announcement would be made in October.

NEW YORK BOUND: Sarah Rutson, Lane Crawford’s longtime fashion director, is headed to Net-a-porter in New York, according to industry sources. As reported earlier this week, Rutson is planning to leave Lane Crawford after more than two decades at the Hong Kong retailer.

The sources said Rutson would take up her new role in January, and an official announcement would be made in October. Net-a-porter could not be reached for comment at press time.

Earlier this week, WWD reported that Rutson was leaving Lane Crawford “to pursue new personal opportunities,” according to Andrew Keith, president of Lane Crawford and Joyce Group.
