NEW YORK — Nine West has teamed with celebrity stylist Leslie Fremar to create limited edition tank tops, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to benefit the CFDA’s Fashion Targets Breast Cancer. The tanks, which retail for $25, are available at Nine West stores and online at ninewest.com and modelinia.com.

The tank is part of a fashion week initiative that Nine West has spearheaded called Nine West Runway Relief, created by Stacy Lastrina, chief marketing officer at The Jones Group Inc. To further the cause, Nine West has also designed a limited edition boot equipped with a Fitbit Wireless Activity Tracker that will be worn by Chrissy Teigen, Carolyn Murphy and about 40 other models during New York Fashion Week that will document how many steps each model takes, from castings to fittings to postevent parties. Nine West will make a $1 donation to the FTBC for every total mile walked.

The limited edition boot retails for $199 and will be sold at all Nine West stores, ninewest.com, and certain Nordstrom units. A percentage of the proceeds are earmarked for Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.

Nigel Barker photographed the ad campaign, which will run during fashion week. Ads will run as public service announcements in magazines such as Vogue; Fortune; Glamour; O, the Oprah Magazine; Harper’s Bazaar; Lucky; Teen Vogue, and Marie Claire, as well as online on InStyle.com, lookbook.nu and refinery29.com. They will also appear on Taxi TV.
