ON KOLB’S RADAR: Expecting just under 200 invitations to various New York fashion shows and presentations next month, the CFDA’s Steven Kolb will keep everything in order with Radar, the new software being unveiled today by Fashion GPS.
Geared for editors, buyers, designers and publicists, Radar will allow users to RSVP to all of their Fashion Week invites all at once in one place. Once invited, Radar-ites create profiles on the members’-only site and can then grant a colleague or assistant access to manage their schedule if they are so inclined. Aside from having a one-stop shop for RSVPing and event details, showgoers will also have the bar codes needed to access various shows. Radar will sync with any smart phone and a Radar iPhone app will be introduced by Fashion GPS later this month. All of this was welcome news to Kolb. “Instead of getting six p.r. agencies sending you six different invitations, you have everything in one place,” he said.

As for how many post-show events he will get to next month, Kolb said, “Unless it is a CFDA event or something mandatory that number is zero.”
