ON THE BALL: Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are set to reinforce their bond with the soccer world. The company has extended its collaboration with the Italian national soccer team through 2014. Starting from the upcoming matches for the qualifications for the UEFA Euro Cup 2012, the fashion firm will design the uniforms not only for the main team, but also for the Under-21 young team. The original agreement was signed in 2006. Dolce and Gabbana are also sponsors of AC Milan and they have recently dedicated to the team the book “Milan Fashion Soccer Players Portraits” launched last May with an event in their men’s store.
