Waris Ahluwalia’s Road Trip

The actor and designer has been traveling with director Luca Guadagnino and Tilda Swinton for a new short film featuring Agyness Deyn.

ON THE ROAD: Waris Ahluwalia has been on the road for the past few weeks, traveling to Hawaii, Arizona and Vermont with director Luca Guadagnino and Tilda Swinton — who he worked with on the Italian film “I Am Love” — for a new short featuring Agyness Deyn. The film, styled by Heidi Bivens, will premiere in January and live on “It’s about a woman who is a free spirit and has a lover leading her on this journey,” said Bivens. “It’s a treasure hunt kind of a journey.”

She said Deyn, who stars in an upcoming feature film, “Pusher,” has been focusing more on acting these days. “We’ll probably still see her in special-assignment modeling but she’s really pursuing acting now.”
