HOUSEWARMING FESTIVITIES: Chloë Sevigny just made her first visit to Japan in about a decade to help celebrate Opening Ceremony’s new flagship store on Tokyo’s trendy Cat Street. Sevigny attended the inaugural bash on Friday night along with the brand’s founders Humberto Leon and Carol Lim. Other notable attendees included model/actress Kiko Mizuhara as well as Hello Kitty bedecked in a kimono.

“When they opened the door, I started cheering. I’m like, I’m more excited than anybody else in here,” Sevigny said, adding that she was planning to engage in a bit of vintage shopping in the capital and head out to the countryside to check out the hot springs. “I have been to Tokyo three or four times and I’ve always wanted to go outside and see some nature. So we’re going to do a bit of that, which I’m really excited about.”
