OUT EAST: Aerin Lauder was in Hong Kong for the launch of “World of Aerin” at Lane Crawford in IFC Mall in Central. It was only her second time in the city, but Lauder has fond memories of her first visit 15 years ago with her husband, Eric Zinterhofer. That was in their child-free years and they spent their time leisurely exploring the city. This time around it was an intense two-night trip and she hit the ground running, shuttling between the Four Seasons Hotel and Lane Crawford through the air-conditioned mall, but she did manage to slip out for a dim sum lunch and to shop for her two sons.
“I went to Sneakers Street in Mong Kok — I would never have gone there if I didn’t have teenage boys,” said Lauder.

She planned to pack in some more sightseeing — The Peak and Stanley — and some shopping at the new WOAW concept store before flying back to New York. “I get home on Friday and looking forward to going to Long Island with my husband for the weekend. The kids are with my parents in Japan for a couple of days, so it’ll just be us for the weekend.”
