Taylor Tomasi Hill Exiting Moda Operandi

The former magazine editor has served as creative director since 2011.

OUT OF MODA: Taylor Tomasi Hill is leaving Moda Operandi, where she served as creative director since 2011. Today is her last day. A favorite of street-style bloggers, the former magazine editor sent out an e-mail on Thursday morning revealing her exit. “After two years with [Moda Operandi], the time has come to move forward with the next chapter,” she said.

According to sources, there were recent rumors of some friction between her and the site’s cofounder Lauren Santo Domingo, after the latter had promised her an equity stake in Moda Operandi that didn’t materialize when the company’s board rebutted the proposal.
