For “Van Cleef & Arpels: The Art of Fine Jewelry,” some 400 pieces created since the house’s inception in 1906 will be on show at the Paris museum from Sept. 20 to Feb. 10. The pieces on show will span from a 1924 Egyptian-style platinum bracelet set with emeralds, rubies, sapphires, onyx and diamonds to items from the 2011 collection Bals de Légende. They will be set against archival documents and sketches.
