PARIS POST: Dior has a new recruit: Longtime Chanel executive Arnaud Bazin is to join the Avenue Montaigne fashion house later this month as managing director of the leather goods, shoes and accessories division, WWD has learned. He is to assume some of the responsibilities previously handled by Delphine Arnault, who recently left Dior, where she was deputy managing director since 2008, to become second-in-command at Louis Vuitton.
Bazin has held a variety of positions in leather goods marketing and product development at Chanel, and was most recently merchandising director at Chanel fashion. According to his LinkedIn profile, he has also worked at Hermès, Procter & Gamble and Cassina.
