German designer Philipp Plein and British artist Phil Robson, also known as Filfury, have teamed up for the first time.

The artist cut to pieces accessories and clothes from Philipp Plein’s pre-fall collection, rearranging them in a set of sculptures that are heavily influenced by his childhood in the Nineties: the designer’s lace ankle boots become a superhero mask, sneakers are turned into beautiful butterflies, sandals in skulls and bags in toy weapons. Filfury has already worked in the fashion business with brands including Nike, Adidas and Reebok.

‘’When I met Filfury I absolutely wanted to mix my creativity with his and reread my collections across his artwork,‘’ said Plein.

The artistic installation was unveiled during Milan Design Week.
