Weinstein, Lucas and Scorsese Spotted at Michael’s

POWER TRIO: Seems that Michael’s in New York City was the place for film’s heavy hitters Monday afternoon. Harvey Weinstein was spotted lunching with an unidentified guest around 12:30, while shortly thereafter old friends George Lucas and Martin Scorsese sat at a nearby table. By 2 p.m., Weinstein had moved over to Lucas and Scorsese’s table, where the three were in animated conversation. Weinstein’s Miramax bankrolled Scorsese’s 2002 opus, “Gangs of New York,” while Lucas was said to have visited the set (reportedly saying of the set, “Sets like that can be done with computers now.”) Could another project be on the way?
