Prada Taps Coach for 2013 Race

Skipper Franck Cammas joins Italian firm’s Luna Rossa team.

MILAN— Prada has tapped French skipper Franck Cammas as coach of its Luna Rossa Challenge 2013 sailing team.
A mathematics graduate, Cammas achieved several sailing successes in a number of international competitions over the last 16 years, such as the solo multi-stage race Solitaire du Figaro, six world championships in the ORMA category, the Fico-Lacoste championship, the Route du Rhum solo transatlantic race, and the Volvo Ocean Race, Prada said.
The Luna Rossa Challenge 2013 team has recently been reinforced with five new sailors, including afterguard Iker Martinez de Lizarduy, trimmer Xabier Fernández Gaztañaga and grinders Simone de Mari, Marco Montis and Wade Morgan.
