MY KINGDOM FOR A GOLD: Queen Elizabeth has one more happy event to mark in her Jubilee year: Her eldest granddaughter Zara Phillips has just qualified to take part in the Olympic Games this summer. Phillips will be one of five equestrians competing with Britain’s eventing team, with her horse High Kingdom. Phillips, who married fellow sportsman Mike Tindall in Scotland last summer, had missed out on the selection for the Athens games in 2004, and on the Beijing ones in 2008 because her horse, Toytown, was injured. Phillips isn’t the first in her family to take part in the Olympic Games. Her mother Princess Anne, an award-winning equestrian, took part in the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games, and her father Mark Phillips, a high-profile figure in the British equestrian world, won a gold medal at the 1972 Olympics in Munich.
