REVVING UP A RUSTIC BRAND: Barbour is teaming up with Land Rover on a collection of men’s and women’s apparel that reflects their core values of capability, design, reliability and style, called The Barbour for Land Rover collection. Apparel will launch in August and will be sold at Barbour stores and concessions worldwide as well as through Land Rover dealers, events and online. There are two distinct styles for men and women: country lux, inspired by country traditions, and black label, which has a more urban, contemporary style. A Clovencrag Quilt jacket with cotton Land Rover tartan lining and Land Rover studs on pocket flaps, is 249 pounds, or $412 at current exchange. A Greenleak jacket has a waxed cotton outer and Land Rover studs on top of the plackets, and is 399 pounds, or $659. A second collection is in the works for the spring.
