RINGING THE BELLS: Yoox.com is unveiling today a special area dedicated to the upcoming holiday season. For the occasion, the Italian e-tailer enrolled a number of personalities from different fields, including model Amber Valletta and entrepreneur Lapo Elkann, to act in a short movie. They will play the part of six couples at a Christmas dinner cooked by chef Davide Oldani and will be styled by Viviana Volpicella, wearing outfits from international brands including Valentino, Golden Glosse, Giambattista Valli, Dolce & Gabbana and Marni. Clicking on the characters, viewers will have access to a shoppable selection of products inspired by their looks.
In keeping with the convivial theme, five video recipes by Oldani will be available on the Web site, along with a capsule collection of aprons designed by a number of fashion and design brands, including MSGM, Trussardi and Missoni. The proceeds from the sale of the aprons will benefit Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity.
