ROCKIN’ OUT WITH EMPORIO: Emporio Armani is deepening its link to the music world.
This week, it became the first fashion brand to partner with Spotify, the digital music service that gives users access to millions of songs. As part of the arrangement, Emporio Armani created an official account and branded playlist at #EmporioArmaniLive. It features 40 songs by 40 artists, including tracks from The Drums, Ladyhawke and Skylar Grey — the performers at tonight’s party to celebrate the opening of the Madison Avenue flagship. Users of the digital music service can subscribe to the Armani account and stream the tracks for free. In addition, after the event, they can also stream clips from the party’s actual performances on Armani’s channel on YouTube.com and armani.com.
