ROKSANDA’S LONDON ADDRESS: For the next few weeks, pedestrians passing by what will be Roksanda Ilincic’s London store can also check out her Josef Albers-inspired capsule collection. Through a new partnership with the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, the designer has whipped up eight pieces that draws from the artist’s work.
To coincide with the Frieze Art Fair, an installation of her finery has been installed by set designer Gary Card in the under-construction space at 9 Mount Street in London’s Mayfair neighborhood. Ilincic has lined up some top talent – British architect David Adjaye – to design the store, which is expected to open its doors next year. Her art-infused Albers styles are being sold exclusively through Net-A-Porter.com.
