Associates Committee Hosts Annual Luncheon

ROUGE REGALIA: The Associates Committee of the Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center held its annual luncheon Wednesday afternoon at New York eatery Rouge Tomate, which had undergone a bit of a retail makeover, care of sponsor Salvatore Ferragamo. The lunch also served as a trunk show for the brand’s spring collection, selections from which were up for sale. (The event’s proceeds benefited the hospital’s Pediatric Family Housing Endowment, which pays for overnight visits of patients’ families.) Guests included Olivia Chantecaille, Maggie Betts and Allison Aston, as well as chairmen Nina Garcia Conrod, Gretchen Gunlocke Fenton, Eugenie Niven Goodman and Emilia Fanjul Pfeifler.

Honoree Nina Pickett, administer of pediatrics at the hospital, had clearly been on the benefit circuit before. Taking the podium, Pickett joked about following Richard O’Reilly, chair of the pediatrics department: “The only person who can really do that is Jamie Niven, and where is he?”
