Royal Couple to Visit South Pacific

Visits are to mark Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee next year.

HAPPY TRAILS: The South Pacific is calling the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Buckingham Palace said the newlyweds would take part in a worldwide tour by members of the British royal family to mark Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee next year.

William and Kate are to travel to Malaysia, Singapore, the Solomon Islands and Tuvalu on the Queen’s behalf, although the dates and details of the trips have not been revealed. The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will travel to Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, while Prince Harry will tour Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas. There will be a national celebration of the monarch’s 60-year reign in London from June 2 to 5.
