BRAVO FLORENCE: The Salvatore Ferragamo company celebrates the 150th anniversary of the proclamation of Florence as the capital of Italy by opening the doors of its Palazzo Spini Feroni, which has been the brand’s headquarters since 1938. On May 7, the Florentine fashion group will inaugurate an exhibition at its medieval palazzo, which was chosen in 1865 to house the city hall.

Curated by Stefania Ricci and Riccardo Spinelli, the “A palazzo and the city” exhibit will collect a range of works of art and documents from various international museums and private collections, which tell the complicated history of Palazzo Spini Feroni and of the people who lived there across the centuries.

The exhibition will be open to the public until April 3, 2016.
