FOR A CAUSE: Style and charity will share the runway at Salvatore Ferragamo’s next show. The Florence-based brand is auctioning off two tickets to attend the presentation of its fall 2015 men’s wear show in Milan this month: the target is to raise funds for the Ospedale Pediatrico Meyer Onlus, a foundation supporting the research and the development of the Florence pediatric hospital. In particular, the proceeds will finance a special project on childhood diabetes.

The Web site charitystars.com is hosting the auction, which will close on Wednesday. The winner will receive two seats for the show and two passes for a backstage meet-and-greet with creative director Massimiliano Giornetti. The initiative underlines once more the bond between the company and its Tuscan roots and is in line with the CharityStars’ motto: “Live a dream, make a change.”
