FOR A CAUSE: Style and charity will share the runway at Salvatore Ferragamo’s next show. The Florence-based brand is auctioning off two tickets to attend the presentation of its fall 2015 men’s wear show in Milan this month: the target is to raise funds for the Ospedale Pediatrico Meyer Onlus, a foundation supporting the research and the development of the Florence pediatric hospital. In particular, the proceeds will finance a special project on childhood diabetes.

The Web site is hosting the auction, which will close on Wednesday. The winner will receive two seats for the show and two passes for a backstage meet-and-greet with creative director Massimiliano Giornetti. The initiative underlines once more the bond between the company and its Tuscan roots and is in line with the CharityStars’ motto: “Live a dream, make a change.”
