SAME TIME, SAME PLACE: For the first time since the event bowed in 2009, this year Vogue Fashion’s Night Out in Milan will coincide with the city’s women’s fashion week, kicking off Sept. 17, the day before the first shows. The shopping event has spread across the globe, and participating countries now include Brazil, China, Germany and South Korea. New York City is not partaking in this year’s VFNO.
“We are proud to continue to give our support to the fashion industry, which represents one of the most important economic sectors, especially in our country,” said Franca Sozzani, editor in chief of Italian Vogue. “Having reached its fifth edition, by now the event is well-established in [Milan], and involves thousands of people. In addition, Vogue Fashion’s Night Out is also an occasion to support concrete projects benefiting the cities and communities we are a part of.”
