Perhaps it was the summer holiday lull or the fact that Selena Gomez’s Revival Tour kicked off two months ago, but the singer’s Friday night concert at Staples Center in her hometown of Los Angeles was lighter on paparazzi flashes than her New York, Las Vegas and Nashville shows (for starters, Taylor Swift wasn’t there dancing up a storm).

But that didn’t stop a crop of famous tween, teen and Millennial fans from flocking to the private Hyde Lounge suite at the arena for the festivities. Hosted by The Aldo Group’s Call It Spring shoe brand, the party drew Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Yara Shahidi, Joey King, Bailee Madison, Rowan Blanchard and Peyton List. While many weren’t old enough to partake in the free cocktails, they amused themselves by dancing around and Snapchatting though the three-and-a-half hour show, which included opening acts Bahari and Joe Jonas’ Diesel-clad band DNCE.

While Gomez didn’t sport any new additions to her bespoke tour wardrobe, which includes Monse, Karl Lagerfeld, Vionnet, Sonia Rykiel and Rodarte, she seemed to get the greatest applause for her shimmery green Rodarte bodysuit. The young crowd may have also gone wild for the profusion of laser light effects and pink confetti during the last act.

Perhaps another explanation for the dearth of social media posts from the event: the majority of attendees were too young to have their own Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat accounts, and the parents accompanying them were too old. That may have helped some of the most famous kids keep a low profile: Zahara and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt were spotted leaving the show with a few friends and a manny and/or security guard just minutes before Gomez exited and hopped into her tour bus.
