FRESH FACE: Send the Trend, the accessories e-tailer which launched in 2010 with a custom-tailored user experience, is celebrating its recent acquisition by QVC with a new look and expanded categories, including beauty. The new site, launched today, has a broader assortment of accessories, jewelry and beauty products from brands such as ISAAC Mizrahi Live!, Muxo by Camila Alves, Spanx, Judith Ripka, Kenneth Jay Lane, LOGO by Lori Goldstein, Dooney & Bourke, L’Occitane, Bliss, Philosophy, Fresh, Tarte and Smashbox.


“We take the traditional e-commerce shopping experience further by… [giving] customers the best product matches and then offering ways to style or wear those products,” said Divya Gugnani, the site’s cofounder. Users can get feedback on purchased items via customer service and integration across social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Tumblr and more. The site also offers several social shopping experiences, like an e-boutique that allows users to curate and share their favorite products on various platforms and earn site credits to potentially win cash prizes.
