THE GREAT BEAUTY: On Feb. 6, Sephora is celebrating the opening of its Piazza di Spagna flagship in Rome as well as a freshly installed “Rosé Champagne & Make Up Bar” created in partnership with Veuve Cliquot and Dior. The temporary space, located inside the flagship, will be in place from Feb. 3 to 16 and will allow shoppers to sip on some bubbly while getting tips from Dior and Sephora make-up artists.
“We decided to focus on a prestige location such as the beauty store in Piazza di Spagna to give the right importance to this unique and innovative project — a synergy of worlds that although different, share a common denominator: exclusivity,” said Sephora Italy’s general director Antonio Ferreira de Almeida.
The Piazza di Spagna flagship opened in November 2013 in what is considered a prime retail space, located by the Spanish Steps in one of Rome’s most popular tourist areas. Spread across two levels, it covers about 1,387 square feet.
