NEW SUIT: Seven Stars Galleria, the exclusive hotel located in Milan’s prestigious Galleria Vittorio Emanuele shopping arcade, has teamed up with Novara, Piedmont-based tailor shop Sartoria Mora to launch a bespoke tailoring service.

Hotel guests will be able to meet a tailor in their rooms and order custom-made suits, shirts and ties, choosing from a wide range of luxury wools and silks.

“We believe in the importance of details as fundamental factors of quality. That’s why we have invested a lot of energy to keep alive the sartorial experience and become specialists in handmade detailing,” said Matteo Mora, chief executive of Sartoria Mora, which was founded in 1975 and boasts that it is the only tailor shop to create silk linings embellished with the customer’s name. “Our work is based not only on cutting skills, but also on the knowledge of fabrics, which mix tradition and innovation.”
