MILAN — The first edition of La Moda Italiana, a special exhibition area dedicated to Italian style, is set to make its debut during the 24th edition of international fashion fair CHIC in Shanghai, running October 13 to 15.
Organized by Ente Moda Italia and Agenzia ICE, in collaboration with Sistema Moda Italia and Assocalzaturifici, the space will feature 46 Italian collections including clothing, accessories and footwear. Participating brands include Fornarina, Maison Dandy and Valentino Orlandi.
The new Italian area will be located in the overseas pavilion of fashion fair CHIC, which takes place twice a year and expects more than 110,000 trade visitors from China and other Asian markets. The event also coincides with the Chinese edition of textiles trade show Milano Unica.
A press conference in conjunction with Milano Unica is slated for October 12 at 10 Corso Como Shanghai to present the new concept to the Chinese industry.
