Gaspard Yurkievich Launching Footwear for Spring

The Italy-produced line will feature six elaborate styles.

SHOE OFF: Gaspard Yurkievich is the latest designer advocating European savoir faire with the launch of a new Italy-produced footwear line for spring. Six elaborate styles embroidered with sequins, silk, wool, feathers and pearls, and sporting python print leather soles, retail at around 1,200 euros, or $1,565 at current exchange rates. Prices for a range of nonembroidered styles in suede, patent leather and napa, some with hand-painted effects, start at 380 euros, or $496.
