SHOP TALK: Forget jewelry boxes: French jewelry designer Aurélie Bidermann soon will have a flagship to house her collections. In September, Bidermann plans to open her first store, in Paris’ Saint-Germain-des-Prés district.
Located at 55bis Rue des Saints-Pères, the forthcoming boutique’s design will be inspired by the spirit of luxury villas along Italy’s Amalfi Coast in the Forties and Fifties. Expect a bright white base with pops of signature colors like turquoise, emerald, yellow and coral, along with materials including rattan, stone and Murano glass.

To mark the milestone, the designer has created a limited-edition necklace and bracelet made of gold and woven, colored silk threads, with the store’s address engraved inside of each piece. The creations are also engraved with motifs based on Bidermann’s iconic charms, such as the elephant, ladybug and four-leaf clover.
