The Saks tie-up, which launches later this month, will add more than 27,000 additional fashion items to DIA’s offer. It is the first time that saks.com products will be available to buy online in Arabic.

According to DIA, e-commerce growth in the Middle East is being fuelled by rising broadband penetration, improvements in shipping infrastructure, growing comfort with online payment and a tech-savvy youth population. Citing Google, the company said Arabic is the fastest-growing language on Twitter.
