At the Cynthia Rowley show at Gotham Hall Friday afternoon, Jill Hennessy relied on a fashion staple to keep her dry during the pounding rain that soaked the city. “I have a $30 rubber raincoat from Zara that I bought 10 years ago,” she said. What about a pair of Wellies? “No, but I have a pair of Aerosoles.” The actress stashed both during the show, wearing a pink one shouldered Rowley dress and Coach heels in the front row. The night before, Hennessy exercised her credit card to support Fashion’s Night Out — she bought a ring at Me & Ro and a sweater and a pair of shoes at Tory Burch. On the other side of the runway, Lauren Bush said she bought “10 of her own bags as gifts” for others during the Thursday night event. Bush launched her new Feed/Read Three tote bag at the Barnes & Noble on Fifth Avenue, as proceeds from the bags go towards the purchase of school meals and books for children.
