SPORT AND FASHION: The Ermenegildo Zegna Group said Monday that the Zegna Sport leisurewear brand has been incorporated into the Z Zegna collection. The new Z Zegna lines will be designed by a creative team headed by former Z Zegna creative director Paul Surridge and Murray Scallon.
“Zegna is developing a new business tool to target the evolving and specific needs of the men’s wear market,” said Ermenegildo Zegna Group ceo Gildo Zegna. “The new Z Zegna will concentrate its efforts on driving attention to different product categories season after season. From ready-to-wear to accessories, this workshop has been developed by our design team and will put in place the best know-how and expertise to hybridize an established concept. The aim of the new Z Zegna is to gain a solid position in the accessible luxury segment.”

The new course of the Z Zegna label will be unveiled with a show on June 19 in Florence during Pitti Uomo.
The company also said that a new Z Zegna store concept will be launched for the spring 2015 season.
