SPEAKING SWEDISH: Starwood Capital Group has acquired seven prime location retail parks and shopping gallerias in Sweden.
CBRE, which advised Starwood, said the properties were acquired from Swedish retail group Kooperativa Förbundet for 3.9 billion Swedish kronor, or $593.3 million at current exchange. The properties are located in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Uppsala, and the tenant lineup includes well-known international nameplates such as H&M.
