LONDON — Stella McCartney is packing her bags for Ibiza — and some Balearic sunshine. The designer will open her first pop-up shop on the Spanish island that’s a magnet for families and all-night partiers alike.
Located in Marina Ibiza, the new seasonal store will open Wednesday and operate until October. The shop, which spans 592 square feet, will carry McCartney’s ready-to-wear and accessories.
The design is in keeping with McCartney’s brand aesthetic, with natural materials and sculptural details.
Baux, a recycled spruce wood, has been used throughout the space, while the rtw collection is displayed on recyclable brass sculptural rails. Natural wool felt curtains cover the fitting rooms.
The store’s street-facing windows will display an LED digital media wall showcasing the latest runway collection.
The designer operates two other locations in Spain, on Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona and on Calle Serrano in Madrid.
