STELLA’S NEW YORK SCHEDULE: Stella McCartney is hitting several birds with one stone today, maximizing her visit to New York to show her resort collection this evening, but also hosting an afternoon tea party in her Greene Street store to benefit the Women’s Leadership Council of the Lincoln Center Corporate Fund and the 10 residential art programs at Lincoln Center. Students from Juilliard will perform. McCartney is being honored by Lincoln Center Nov. 13 at an event similar to last year’s featuring Karl Lagerfeld as the honoree, in conversation with Jessica Chastain.
The cochairs for McCartney’s evening include Glenda Bailey, Olivia Harrison, Gabriela Perezutti, Austin Hearst and Dolly Lenz, while the host committee is a list of McCartney’s famous friends: Alec Baldwin, Iman and David Bowie and Cameron Diaz, to name a few.

“It feels so unreal and extraordinary to be honored at Lincoln Center,” said McCartney. “It’s the home of such amazing creativity. I’m so humbled and thankful, especially having been surrounded with the arts since Day One of my life. I am so proud because my mum grew up in New York and it’s always been a second home to me.”
