ESCADA NAMES CMO: Monday will be Stephen Croncota’s first day as Escada’s chief marketing officer, a new post.
In this role, he will oversee all aspects of marketing and public relations, including advertising, promotion, trade marketing, licensing and e-commerce.
Prior to signing on with Escada, Croncota served as cmo at two other companies at different times — Versace in Milan and Haggar in the U.S. He also has worked in media and entertainment, having served as head of marketing for both E! Entertainment Television and Game Show Network television networks. And at one time, he was head of programming for the Style television network.
Escada chairman Megha Mittal noted that his experience in creative industries will “further enhance and focus our efforts to engage with our customer in exciting ways both online and off-line.”
