Marc Jacobs’ Spring Sample Collection Stolen

Designer's company was preparing for a press day in London slated for today.

STOLEN GOODS: Parts of Marc Jacobs’ spring sample collection were stolen on London’s Mount Street on Wednesday as his company was preparing for a press day in the English capital slated for today. Details could not be learned, and the incident is under investigation, but it is understood that thieves made off with some ready-to-wear and accessories, but not the entire assortment from Jacobs’ various collections, which include his main line and Marc by Marc Jacobs. Jacobs is said to have duplicates for many of the looks. The press day, however, has been canceled. A spokeswoman for Marc Jacobs couldn’t be reached for comment.
