SEASONAL SNAPPERS: Over the next weeks, is looking to give privileged access to the international fashion collections through social media – and especially Instagram, which is rapidly gaining importance as a sales and marketing medium.

The luxury fashion Web site will today unveil 360-degree Fashion Week (@Stylebop #360FW), which will see industry figures such as model Soo Joo Park, stylist Alexandra Carl, and accessories designer Olympia Le-Tan take pictures and offer commentary with the aim of providing “a unique view” of the fashion shows and behind-the-scenes action, according to the company.

Leila Yavari, fashion director of Stylebop, said that while the initiative will be available across all of the site’s social media outlets, “Instagram will take the lead as befits our increasingly visual and globalized culture.”
