Bloomingdale’s to Carry Prestat Chocolates for Holiday

The British chocolates, which are favored by the royal family, will be sold at 26 Bloomingdale’s stores from October to December.

SWEET TOOTH: Bloomingdale’s has come up with another holiday exclusive — chocolates from Britain that are favored by the royal family. Prestat, which was founded in 1902, will be sold at 26 Bloomingdale’s stores from October to December and plans are in the works for Valentine’s Day.

The holiday collection includes red velvet truffles, pink Marc de Champagne truffles, dark sea salt and caramel truffles, milk chocolate hazelnut praline truffles, wafer thins in dark chocolate with English Mint and milk chocolate thins infused with English Earl Grey Tea. Bloomingdale’s will also launch the Prestat Bauble Christmas tree decoration, which is filled with truffles.

“It has only taken 118 years since our founders invented the world’s first chocolate truffle, but we have now arrived and its showtime,” said Nick Crean, co-owner of Prestat
