SONG AND DANCE: French actresses are a versatile bunch, and many tested their pipes Tuesday night at Tara Jarmon’s new store on Rue Saint Honoré.
Among those stepping up to the microphone after a performance by deejay and stylist Cécile Togni was Emma de Caunes, as her famous father, Antoine, looked on proudly.
Also queuing up was French vocalist Gladys Gambie, who also makes up half of a deejay duo. The launch of her new album has been delayed until September 2010 as Gambie revealed she is about to start filming “Aux Armes et cetera” at the end of the month.
Nora Arnezeder, best known for her work as an actress and model, said she too was working on something new – a folk style album. Meanwhile, comedian Julie Judd said she would soon be turning her hand to a play, “The Disappearance of Richard Taylor,” in November.
